Monday, July 4, 2011. So it has been a while since we have blogged and since Levi did it last time, I guess it is my turn. So here is a quick rundown of the last few months. Last winter while Levi was up on the slope I tried to keep myself busy so I joined the Fairbanks Community Band and when it was warm enough, I tried to get out and do some skiing. We stopped along the way to do some fishing.

Friday, August 14, 2015. A couple of weeks ago, when one of my friends read on my blog that I was using the Aviva Plus Accu-Chek glucometer, she passed along her test strips she no longer needed since she had switched to a different meter. Lucky me! And it was a beautiful, beautiful thing. Maybe the kind of beauty that only another diabetic can understand. But beautiful, no less. So so so jealous! .
